This week we worked on adding and subtracting decimals. To help further learn, we ordered food from menus for us and 3 other guests of our choice!
Some of the many guests included: Taylor Martinez, Spongebob, Taylor Swift, Pitbull, FloRida, Albert Einstein, and Honey Boo Boo.

This brain break was called snowball. I had the kids write 3 decimal problems, throw it 3 different times, then the 4th snowball they had to sit down and solve it! The whole time they were "snowballing" they had to be silent, oh and the other rule, they could not aim at me!
I had them do the same thing this time with 2 fraction problems!

Peyton and Drew won scratch off cards, their prize was free time to draw on the white board. Since they finished their reading they were able to redeem them! What a beautiful picture! :)
Spot Light Student
Students may become "Spot Light Students" by submitting quotes from class, something neat they learned, or share a fun activity. (there is a spot in the room and the form is BRIGHT green!) They can also redeem a scratch of ticket to complete a blog post.
