Mitosis

Yesterday we started Mitosis, and we watch some really neat videos that the kids really enjoyed. If you want to watch them with your student, they can explain to you what is going on. A good way to assess their learning! You can also ask them why Mitosis happens in our bodies!

Other Questions to ask them:

Why do the chromosomes duplicate?
How many cells does Mitosis start with? End with?
What kind of cells go through Mitosis?
What would happen if cells did not duplicate?
What would happen if chromosomes did not duplicate?

Also, when it comes to test time, it will be a great way to study!
