I hope you had a great weekend and are refreshed to start a new week!
Like I said in the Friday Newsletter, in Science we are starting the unit on animal and plant cells. There will be a lot of vocabulary. I will encourage my students to take home their science notebooks every evening, by the end of the week they will make a vocab/picture matching game for them to practice. If you want to join your student with their science vocab it can be used as a matching game, go fish, or memory.
By the end of next week the students will have to bring in their own design of a cell. I will let them choose if they want to make an animal or a plant cell.
I believe that having them be creative in the design will help them remember the shapes and functions of the cell and organelles.

We will still continue our reading vocabulary, and use it in our stories.
